Instrumental Music Program All Ensemble Participation All instrumental students are encouraged to be involved in ensembles and performances. Please indicate the types of ensembles you/your child is likely to be interested in participating in. Vocal Ensemble Brass and Woodwind Ensemble Stage/Jazz band Percussion Ensemble Contemporary bands Cultural influenced group Guitar Ensemble Classical style group College Production band Other: Please describe your child’s musical background e.g. previous lessons, self-taught, community or school involvement, etc. . . Additional information: Please describe any additional information or special needs relevant to you/your child participating in Instrumental music lessons. . Instrument Hire (select only one) It is an expectation that all students have an instrument for home practice. School hire instruments are ONLY available for flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet and trombone. All other instruments are not available for hire. I will need to hire a flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet or trombone from MPSC I have my own instrument at home I am a voice student and therefore I do not require an instrument I do not have an instrument at home to practice on Participation & Commitment We understand the expectations and participation in the Instrumental Music Program at MPSC for 2021. I will participate in the Instrumental Music Program by completing set tasks/attend weekly sessions and practice. Participate in various school bands, ensembles & performances. I parent/guardian understand that I will need to contact the Instrumental Music Teacher to advise of any concerns, in regards to my child’s attendance. We accept responsibility for the safe upkeep and cost of repair to the school instruments used/damaged. I will provide an instrument for practice at home.
