Mill Park Secondary College is encouraging families to purchase a laptop that can be used both at school and home. MPSC is assisting to reduce costs for families by providing the software free including Microsoft Office, Expression Web, Visual Basic, Visio, Sibelius and the Adobe Suite. It is expected that students in Year 7 to 12 will bring a device in 2021 to all classes. Please take time to read this information pack regarding the BYOD program. Device specifications and minimum system requirements The device specifications identify the minimum system requirements/hardware specifications for student devices and offer guidance on some suggested makes and models so that parents are fully informed about requirements While all devices meet the minimum system requirements/ hardware specifications, the school strongly recommends that students choose a laptop device to ensure that their BYOD maximises their learning experiences.
