English Language Centre
The English Language Centre delivers an Intensive English Language Program focused on developing students’ language skills for social and school-based purposes. The program prepares students for participation in the mainstream curriculum and a natural transition into classes on completion of their English Language Program.
Students complete (up to) 20 weeks in the English Language Centre, developing skills in writing, reading, speaking and listening.
The English Language Centre provides an orientation program that supports students to operate in an Australian school environment and the wider community. The program also includes excursions to enhance students’ learning experiences.
The program is staffed by qualified teachers skilled in working with newly arrived students for whom English is an Additional Language.
